Updates and factory reset

Check the version and look for updates

Connect the clock over Bluetooth and make sure it has internet access over Wi-Fi. If needed, complete Wi-Fi setup first.

  1. Open Setting → About.
  2. Check Firmware Version, then tap Check Firmware Update.
  3. Wait for the result. If an update is available, Update Firmware appears. Otherwise, no further action is needed.

Install an update

  1. Tap Update Firmware and read Firmware update risks.
  2. Wait for the reading countdown, then tap I understand, continue.
  3. In Start firmware update?, check the details and tap Confirm update.
  4. Keep power and Wi-Fi stable, with the app in the foreground to follow progress.
  5. Wait for the clock to finish and reconnect, then check Setting → About for the firmware version.

Do not unplug, restart or reset the clock during an update. If Check timed out appears, use Refresh status. A brief disconnection or timeout does not necessarily mean the update failed.

Before a factory reset

A factory reset clears the clock's name, time, display, brightness, sleep schedules, Wi-Fi, alarms and related settings. Note anything you want to keep.

To change Wi-Fi only, use Setting → Wi-Fi. A factory reset is normally unnecessary.

Reset using the app

  1. Connect to your own clock and make sure no update is in progress.
  2. Open Setting → Factory Reset.
  3. Read Reset device settings?. Tap Factory Reset to clear the settings, or Cancel to keep them.
  4. Wait for Factory settings restored, then follow Quick start.

The app retains its theme, language, saved Wi-Fi passwords and remembered device. Resetting the clock does not erase the app's local preferences.

You can also reset using ③ Function. See Buttons and everyday use for the sequence and cancellation timing.
